About the Role
White Fox Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support project planning, field operations, and technical documentation. This role bridges engineering, project management, and on-site coordination — ideal for candidates looking to grow into a full Project Manager role.
Requirements
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and procurement
Review drawings, RFIs, specs, permits, and subcontractor submittals
Prepare and track daily reports, logs, and documentation
Coordinate inspections, materials, and subcontractor deliveries
Maintain project files, quality control forms, and safety records
Support the Project Manager with scheduling and cost tracking
Conduct site visits and verify work progress
Communicate with engineers, architects, clients, and field teams
Assist with punch-list development and close-out packages
Requirements
1–3 years of construction experience or engineering-related background
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Strong organization, documentation, and time management skills
Proficiency in MS Office, scheduling tools, and project management platforms
Knowledge of DC building codes and permitting is a plus
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred
OSHA 10 certification preferred (can be earned after hire)
