Responsibilities
Track Vehicle Usage
Monitor and record daily vehicle usage metrics, including start and end times.
Analyze data to optimize vehicle allocation and reduce idle time.
Generate reports on vehicle utilization for management review.
GPS Logs
Collect and maintain GPS tracking data for all vehicles.
Ensure accuracy of GPS logs by regularly checking for discrepancies.
Utilize GPS data to assess route efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Mileage Tracking
Record and analyze mileage for all vehicles on a weekly basis.
Prepare mileage reports for budgeting and cost analysis.
Implement measures to reduce excess mileage and associated costs.
Schedule Maintenance and Inspections
Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all vehicles.
Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely inspections and repairs.
Keep detailed records of all maintenance and inspection activities.
Manage Equipment Calendars
Create and maintain a centralized calendar for all equipment usage and availability.
Ensure that all team members are aware of equipment schedules to avoid conflicts.
Regularly update the calendar to reflect changes in equipment status or availability.
Maintain Tool/Equipment Tracking System
Implement a robust tracking system for all tools and equipment.
Conduct regular audits to ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition.
Train staff on proper usage and reporting procedures for tools and equipment.
Develop a process for reporting and addressing lost or damaged items.
