Responsibilities
Build Relationships
Establish and nurture partnerships with local nonprofits to create collaborative opportunities.
Engage with schools to develop programs that support student career readiness and workforce skills.
Connect with reentry programs to facilitate job placement and support for individuals transitioning back into the workforce.
Regularly communicate with stakeholders to assess needs and enhance partnership effectiveness.
Organize Job Fairs and Outreach Events
Plan and execute job fairs that connect job seekers with potential employers, ensuring a diverse range of industries are represented.
Coordinate outreach events to raise awareness about workforce development initiatives and available resources.
Work with community organizations to host workshops and seminars aimed at skill development and job readiness.
Evaluate the success of events through participant feedback and follow-up surveys to improve future initiatives.
Maintain Participant Tracking Logs
Develop and implement a tracking system to monitor participant engagement and progress in workforce development programs.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of participant attendance, job placements, and follow-up outcomes.
Analyze tracking data to identify trends and areas for improvement in program offerings.
Generate reports for stakeholders to demonstrate program impact and inform future strategies.
Support Workforce Development Initiatives
Assist in the design and implementation of training programs that equip participants with essential job skills.
Collaborate with employers to identify workforce needs and align training programs accordingly.
Provide one-on-one support to participants, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
Stay informed about labor market trends to ensure programs remain relevant and effective in meeting community needs.
